ARMS Around the Triangle

Hope. Needed by each one at some point in his or her life. Desired by many in this desperate, “recession focused” Global economy. Found by some. We Christians have Hope. We have Jesus. People in the Harvest want Him. The reason we live missionally and intentionally plant more churches is to bring Jesus, our Hope, to people who have no HOPE.

 Fortunately, leaders in the SRBA prepared for this hopeless, “famine environment” as Joseph prepared for the Egyptian famine of his day. We all agree that God was orchestrating the events in Joseph’s day. Furthermore, we believe God has been the architect of the church planting strategy in the Triangle Area to birth new congregations here which bring Hope to people.

2009 will be the year of Hope for many in the Beaufort Area because of God calling out two couples, The Greens and the Barrs. Leaving their comfortable places in the established church last year, these two families ventured into the world of church planting. Thank you for obeying God and relocating here.

This step of faith will manifest into a body of believers as the Holy Spirit causes it to grow both spiritually and numerically. On Sunday, January 25, at the Chic-fil-a

Restaurant in Beaufort, a first-time event will transpire. The LINK will launch in a business built upon the Bible and upon a desire to please God. My understanding is that this is a first-time event for Chic-fil-a.

 In what is called a “soft” launch, Mike, Lynn, Chad and Amy will be meeting with people in the area to answer basic questions about God. Their love for God is clear. Their passion for people without Christ is evident.

Let’s agree to pray for THE LINK as they take another step in this process of planting a church in Beaufort which continually honors God and penetrates LOSTNESS.
