Biker Church USA, Bluffton

For motorcycle enthusiasts, their bikes are more than just transportation…they are freedom.  Many have the mentality of working to ride.  These individuals are usually very passionate people…passionate about the things they deem important.  When a biker gets saved, their passion points to Christ and they want to charge the gates of hell with a water pistol.

Biker Church USA is a network of churches that seeks to reach motorcycle enthusiasts with the gospel and disciple them by getting them into the Word of God.  The Biker Church USA name has become a drawing point for many bikers because we have churches and ministries under its umbrella at many of the biker rallies and events, including the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach and over in Cherokee, NC.

Currently there are 8 Biker Church USA congregations in South Carolina and at least 7 more in other states.  The name and image has been branded and is recognized within the biker culture.  I was on the ground level of this work and helped lead the first group that became BCUSA.  I am excited about planting a BCUSA in Savannah River Baptist Association.

I have recently been appointed the chaplain for the local law enforcement motorcycle club Blue Knights of Beaufort and have established a report with the Christian Motorcycle Association and a few secular clubs.  My desire is to reach out to these clubs with the Gospel, begin Bible studies and develop a group to start meeting for regular worship services and fellowships.
