More than 200 senior adults attended "Celebrating Among the Palms", the SRBA Senior Adult Celebration held August 20 at St. Helena Baptist Church.
They enjoyed special presentations by the Lady's Island Fire Dept., Ervena Faulkner, food columnist for the Beaufort Gazette, Ann Barton, retired educator, special music by Scott Baldwin and inspiring words from Rev. Tim Tomlinson. Door prizes were given and a delicious meal was served by St. Helena Baptist Church.
Many thanks to Dorothy Willis (shown at left with Steve Scudder, SRBA Director of Missions) who coordinated the event, St. Helena Baptist Church for hosting and providing an outstanding meal, and to all who volunteered their time to make this special occasion so successful.
