Block Party Training

Looking for a fun and effective way to reach your community for Christ? An Evangelistic Block Party may just be the item you need!

An evangelistic block party is a fun event sponsored by the church to reach the community for Jesus Christ. It is a platform to establish trust, build relationships, and share the gospel that is designed to catch the attention of the residents of a community by appealing to their interests, tastes, and curiosity. An evangelistic block party also gives church members the opportunity to work together in taking the gospel outside of the church walls.

The SRBA Evangelism Department is pleased to announce that training is now available to our churches on hosting evangelistic block parties. The purpose of this training is to help our churches grow by equipping our members to live out the Gospel in our communities.

This training is indispensible for churches that are considering hosting a community block party this summer. The training consists of one session (approximately 1.5 hours) and includes topics such as the key to a successful block party, publicity, site layout, evangelism, activities, refreshments, evangelistic stage events, and post-event follow up.
