The Baptist Church of Beaufort
Historical Marker Service
An exciting moment in the life of the Baptist Church of Beaufort will take place on Sunday, September 9th.  We are excited to add an official historical marker to our property – one that chronicles some of the story of the vast history of BCOB in Beaufort and this region of the south.  Our worship service, beginning at 11am,  will focus on our Rich Heritage and Vibrant Faith with a special recognition of the many congregations all around the low-country that can trace their roots back to BCOB, thirteen and counting.  We are expecting members of our local government, including the mayor, and the Beaufort County Historical Society, to be in attendance after our worship service and provide remarks at a brief outdoor service that will surround the official unveiling of the marker itself.  It will be a time of celebration and fellowship, as we gaze behind us at the strong heritage which God has so richly provided and as we ready ourselves to charge forward with a vibrant zeal and renewed purpose - remembering to be who we are and striving to reach out in God’s love to our community and beyond.  We welcome all from our surrounding communities of faith to join us for this special service.  We hope to see you there!

For more information on this event, please feel free to contact us at 843-524-3197 or bcb@bcob.org

5th Sunday Hymn Sing “The Name of Jesus” with a Chocolate and Cheese fellowship to follow!
Join us on Sunday, September 30th at 6pm, in the sanctuary of The Baptist Church of Beaufort for an evening of singing hymns and fellowship.  Our theme for this evening will be The Name of Jesus, we will sing together hymns that focus on Christ Jesus and the impact of His name.  Come ready to sing along, we might even learn a new song or two, and plan to stay for our fellowship afterward.  All are welcomed to bring along a savory or sweet chocolate or cheese finger food to share!  We would love to have you there!  For more information on this event, please feel free to contact us at 843-524-3197 or bcb@bcob.org .
