The Link Church

“The Giving”  first meeting will be on Monday,  August  5, 11:00 am at La Nopalera on Ribaut Rd. “The Giving” began approximately 10 years ago when The Link Church wanted to bless needy families in the community with a Thanksgiving meal. God has blessed this ministry and today there are 12-15 churches involved. There are Baptist churches, Non-denominational churches, Lutheran churches, Presbyterian churches, etc. that are working together under the name of Jesus.  They partner up together and each church is given something to provide (green beans, yams, rolls, etc.) and raise money to provide for the turkeys.  Last year they provided full Thanksgiving meals for approximately 570 families! They then have a joint worship service on Sunday night and Thank God for all that he has provided.  They would love for more churches to be involved this year and see what a blessing it is to serve families.

If your church would be interested in being a part of this ministry, please come to the informational meeting on August 5 or contact Rev. Chad Barr at 843-812-9048 or email  thelinkchurchpastor@gmail.com.
