Maye River WMU set up an indoor Missions yard sale which provided $1,557 for projects. Special thanks to the men who helped. Also, thanks to Henry Rivera who got Jesus DVDs & tracks donated for the bags we handed out as gifts.

We will have the PACK A SHOEBOX PARTY Saturday, Nov. 6th, from 10 am until 2 pm. The guest speaker will be Danny Bates. He will tell the story of Olivia, one of the recipients of a Christmas Shoebox, an amazing and inspiring story of what God does. Come and enjoy the FUN for all our first “packing party”. Plan to join us as we fellowship, eat spaghetti, and take all we collected this year.

At the Town of Bluffton’s 20th Remembrance Ceremony for 9/11, the Maye River Baptist Church WMU “Joy” group served 148 cupcakes and muffins. This was a community service project to support the Bluffton Police Officers and First Responders. As Christians, we wanted to honor our local heroes and say thank you.
