Mission Trip Information

Suggestions will be offered for housing opportunities and help can be given in securing these.  Mission trips can take on many different forms and schedules and allows for more flexibility.   The price for a mission trip includes a themed t-shirt, id badge, devotional guide, commissioning pin and staff time.  Most mission trips are for one week with groups arriving on Saturday or Sunday and leaving out on the following Saturday.  Additional information is as follows:

Dates:  May 30th - August 3rd

Ministry opportunities:  Backyard Bible Clubs, Day Camps at Hunting Island State Park, Faith-based sports camps, Prayer Walking, Service projects, Light yard work and construction, Random acts of kindness and more!!!!

Lodging opportunities:   If doing Hunting Island State Park ministry, most teams stay at the St. Helena Baptist Church Mission House which cost $5.00 per night, per person (Cost subject to change).  Otherwise, there are:

Running W Retreat Center (Bluffton area): Rates - to be determined

Local hotels - Reduced rates have been worked out with a few.

Mission Venture 2012

The experience starts on Sunday evening and goes through the following Saturday morning.  During a mission venture, groups are normally with 1-3 other groups for their lodging, meals and worship times, however, during ministry times, each group will be by themselves.  The price for mission venture includes the following:  themed t-shirt, devotional guide, id badge, commissioning pin, staff time, nightly worship, lodging and all meals (Sunday evening through Saturday morning) with the exception of Wednesday evening, which is free time. 

Ministry opportunities:    Backyard Bible Clubs, Faith-based sports camps, Creative Arts ministries, Prayer walking, Light yard work and construction, Random acts of kindness, Block parties, Service projects and more!!!
