There are 360,000 churches in America. Only 15% are growing.

·         Only 2-5% is growing by reaching people with no relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

·         The other 10-13% is growing by attracting members coming from other churches.

71% of SBC churches have plateaued.

78.6% of SBC churches baptized less than 10 last year.

85% of our children (including those in our churches) today do not have a Christian worldview.

1 of 8 persons in the US receives food stamps. 20,000 people enroll for food stamps daily.

The average American throws away 70 lbs. of clothing per year.

Atlanta, GA, is #1 city in the US for sex trade of girls ages 11 to 17.

70 to 80% of the population of South Carolina was not in any church this past Sunday or on any given Sunday.

52% of residents of SC do not profess ANY religion.

There are 91 languages and dialects spoken in South Carolina today.

Trinity Point Church in Easley, SC, had only about 70 members, and they had forgotten what “a win” looked like. They began to “Story,” (i.e., share the stories of the Bible and just let God speak). The church has tripled in the last 18 months.

There are more than 6400 people groups who still have NO Gospel witness among them.

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commanded us to “Go make disciples of all nations (ta ethne—every ethnic group)…”

The question is: Will we have a part in it?
