A Missional Stewardship Opportunity

As we all know, good stewardship is being responsible with the resources, time and talents that God has provided us with. A piece of that deals with how we use those items to help and serve others in the name of Jesus. Each and every day, we are presented with or pass by people who need our help and we must make a choice as to the type of steward we will be. As summer approaches, there is a specific group of people that could use your help as well; our SRBA summer missionaries.
Each summer these high school and college students follow God’s call to give 10 weeks of their time in service to Him here in the lowcountry. There are many material needs involved with being away from home for 10 weeks, but one of the greatest is the need for food. So, once again, we are asking you, our SRBA congregations, to please minister to our summer missionaries by participating in our annual food drive. Listed below are the items being requested. And if you would also like to prepare a home cooked meal for our summer staff, please contact Larry at 521-7038 to make arrangements. FOOD DRIVE FOR SUMMER MISSIONARIES
• Gift cards to Wal-Mart or local grocery stores are extremely helpful
• Cereal, Pop Tarts
• Chips, cookies, crackers
• Sugar, pasta, rice
• Microwave popcorn, cake mix
• Powdered Drink mix, Tea Bags
Items may be dropped off at the SRBA office in Ridgeland or call 726-8294 to arrange pick up from your church. God bless!!!!
The 2008 Royal Ambassador Camp Out/Field Day April 12 was nothing less than a heart felt reminder that our King most certainly is upon his throne. It takes our King to create the Christ like loving fellowship we shared between fifty-two boys, twenty-eight RA leaders and some thirty other servants assisting in the events. Altogether eight churches in the association came together for this event.
