Dear Friends,

What a great time I had with the ladies from Faith and Coosawhatchie Baptist churches! We had 13 ladies who laughed and filled the fellowship hall with the Christmas spirit. From our camel who went on a journey (did  you know camels could fly?!), to stealing one another's Christmas gifts and singing and giving praise to our Lord for our missionaries that were having birthdays. We were blessed to be able to help supply some needed items for our children in low income housing areas.

Thank you Riverview Baptist and Coosawhatchie Baptist for opening your doors this Christmas season and hosting a good old fashioned WMU Christmas in the Lowcountry party. Also, a big thank you to the ladies from Faith, Port Royal and Meadowbrook Baptist churches who came and gave.

Our spring meeting will be April 10, 2008 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church beginning at 7:00 p.m. I also hope to see  you at the Women's Evangelism Conference in Columbia on January 26, 2008.
