CLARENCE & CHRISTINE HANSHEW OFFERING FOR ASSOCIATION MISSIONS
GOAL: $13,900
For nearly 20 years, Clarence Hanshew led this association as Director of Missions. He called on SRBA churches to join hands and touch lives for the Kingdom’s sake.
Today, the work of the association continues to unite our churches in the Kingdom work of life transformation. Because you prayed, gave and served, look what happened last year:
· Nearly 800 Hispanic migrant workers lives were touched through 2 weeks of VBS on St. Helena Island.
· 17 summer missionaries helped 15 SRBA churches provide a witness and ministry during the summer.
· One-hundred fifty-nine youth from across Beaufort and Jasper Counties participated in Live Out Loud ’08. Twenty-seven kids made decisions to follow Christ. Thirteen were professions of faith and 11 were recommitments.
· 48 people from 11 churches were trained in evangelism and missions through STEAM.
Why Give?
Our churches have joined hands to touch lives in our area, our state, and our world in a way we could not individually. By giving to the Hanshew Offering, we will be better able to complete these goals:
· Send summer and CrossFollowers (area youth serving 10 or more days) throughout Jasper & Beaufort Counties.
· Conduct a VBS for nearly 1000 migrant farm workers and their children in July;
· Send mission teams to Nova Scotia and Delhi, India.
· Continue to equip and send believers into our communities to touch lives.

Please pray for the coming opportunities we have to invest our lives in Kingdom service:
- Pray for the summer missionaries who will arrive on May 28 to lead sports camps, VBS, and performance teams throughout our area and to serve SRBA churches this summer.
- Pray for Arms Around the Triangle, the church multiplication movement of SRBA. Pray specifically for Crosspoint Church as they conduct preview services May 18, June 8, July 13, and August 3 and 17, and then launch at Sea Turtle Cinemas (Bluffton) on September 7.
- Pray for the annual Migrant VBS and outreach ministry June 16-19 and 23-26.
- Pray for multihousing ministries conducted by SRBA churches.
