Why be involved in a Prayer Ministry?

 Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not…..”

 Prayer shapes the life of a church, the life of an individual. What kind of church or person do you want to be? The enemy (Satan) is saying: “keep complaining, don’t get on your knees”.  Pray magazine states:  If we spent 1/10 of the time praying that we spend critizing others, there would be a great revival in our land.

 Let us resolve to be a Praying people.  Prayer should be the atmosphere of our life.  Col 4: 2  “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful..”  The first skill of prayer is to Listen to the Teacher. ‘The more we read His word with our eyes, the more He speaks in the present tense to our heart.’ *  He calls us to seek His face.. Pray that God will do something so big in your town/area, that no man can take credit for it!
