Larry Leming, Missions Ministries Director

Thoughout the Savannah River Baptist Association, we are surrounded by  numerous mission opportunities that are as diverse as the people within our two county area. God is calling forth His people to meet those needs by going out and building relationships with those who live, work, play and visit in Beaufort and Jasper counties, SC. We are, however, not to stop there. His call extends from Jerusalem to Judea to Samaria and to the utter most parts of the earth. In other words, from Beaufort to South Carolina to the United States to our international brothers and sisters of the world. To find the many mission opportunities that are available to us here in our own area and beyond, click on the links at right and visit Lowcountry Ministries website below.

DAUFUSKIE ISLAND -- "What? There's no cars?" was the first impression of Daufuskie Island for 18-year-old Samantha Parker, a rising sophomore at Anderson University. This is Parker's first year as a missionary with Lowcountry Ministries, which has brought 17 high school juniors, seniors and college students to the area through the Savannah River Baptist Association May 31 through Aug. 5.  Click below to read the Beaufort Gazette article:
